The Delegation of the European Union to Armenia is seeking an individual for the position of a trainee in the Political, Economic, Press and Information Section.

The duration of this full time non-remunerated traineeship is from 3 to 6 months starting from March 01, 2017.



The scope of the work includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Contribute to political and economic reporting
  • Attend meetings, seminars and write reports
  • Provide input for and independently execute tasks
  • Do research on various topics, translate from  / into English-Armenian
  • Support administrative tasks in the Delegation
  • Liaise with third parties under the supervision of the Head of Section



  • Armenian citizenship
  • Relevant university education or final year undergraduate student
  • Work experience not exceeding a year
  • Knowledge of EU-Armenia relations, domestic political affairs and foreign relations of Armenia
  • Fluency in English and Armenian; good working knowledge of Russian
  • Computer literacy
